I think Clemson has two problems, a disappointing QB and a poor OC, they need to bring Morris back.
Go Gators!
Oregon is currently tied at home against a pretty awful Cal team midway through quarter number 3.
And now a 7 point 4th quarter lead for Cal. Oregon is one bad possession away from being in serious trouble.
Went down the Sauce Gardner stats rabbit hole this afternoon. It's truly mind boggling what he's accomplished at UC. And it's not like the American has had poor passing offenses either. Aside from giving up none and scoring several TDs, or how few attempts are ever completed on him, what's wild is how rarely he's targeted. You'd think it'd get boring after a while.
Oregon won by a TD but it still looks like they're overranked and not worthy of being a top ten team. Might not be a top 20 team when it's all said and done. OSU's loss to them is looking worse and worse. Once again the Big Ten is Ohio State's buddy. Unless Clifford is back and up to speed, the Buckeyes are on easy street until their last 2 games of the yr. Must be nice
Lol yeah, OSU has to play 3 top 10 teams in the last 4 weeks of the season. So easy.
And THEN, if OSU makes it through that gauntlet unscathed they will play the #2 ranked team in the country on a neutral field in the conference championship. Easy peasy.
Oregon’s best player is out now, he tore up OSU. Also, if you’re under the impression this OSU team hasn’t figured out a ton since that game you are kidding yourself.

No disrespect to UK-UGA but this is a pretty lackluster slate of games this week.
Could the grand poobahs find a way to throw us a few marquee OOC games each week? Seems like a simple idea. Plus the more inter-mingling of conferences the more you can get a read on which teams are for real.

Yeah, the slate seems weak, but I think this week's games could end up being pretty revealing for mid-tier bowl placement.
- Oklahoma State v. Texas may well show the Cowboys as a team for Oklahoma to fear. They win this, that late November game may end up huge. A Texas win keeps them relatively interesting.
- Arkansas v. Auburn sets up the winner in a solidly average bowl game, perhaps-- while the loser may well end up somewhere around the Belk Bowl. This game may well put Sam Pittman on the radar of several big-time coaching opportunities.
- Baylor's 5 - 1. If they beat BYU, perhaps they're a team to watch. They'd definitely be in consideration for some top 25 votes.
- If 4-1 Boston College upsets NC State, they may well be in the driver's seat as the ACC challenger to Wake Forest. Similar to Pittman at Arkansas, a BC win may put Jeff Hafley in the driver's seat for a big-time Division I opportunity.
- If LSU loses to Florida, Ogeron could be fired Monday. If, however, the Gators drop the game, Dan Mullen may start feeling some heat.
- Ole Miss v. UT has the markings of a game that may eclipse 100 points. It could well reveal a Tennessee team that's years ahead of schedule on its rebuild as well.
You won't hear me say this very often but today I am a Kentucky fan. Go 'Cats!
