Doolittle came in with his below average stuff BUT…..BIG BUT, pitched every single pitch, even 3-2 on the edge. That was textbook PITCHING.

Brach didn't have it tonight. He took a beating. But I don't blame Bell one bit for sticking with him. Outside of Hembree the rest of the options are bad.
And he can't pitch Hembree multiple innings.
