This is a blast. Sitting around watching four or five games at once. It's really starting feel like a real pennant race.

I think the Marlins are out of play now. It would be an epic collapse for them to be phased out of this.
All eyes on STL, PHI, MIL, SF from here. The Phils have to play Nats and Rays. The Giants have the Rockies and Padres. If the Reds can take care of business, I feel relatively good about PHI and/or SF struggling this final week.

Is Disco just the 5th man and out of play now? Could be.
Disco is more likely the 7th or 8th man right now. Lorenzen and Mahle are certainly ahead of him. Miley, Antone and Sims could/should be ahead of Disco if a starter went out.

Probably not the right choice of adjective, but I'm thinking in context of 8 playoff slots, and that 1.5 edge with a week to go is fairly solid. I like PHI or SF (and maybe both) to play themselves out of the mix.
