    Tell that to his bat.

That's bad enough, but he can't hit very hit-able pitches either! I hope he can at least have contact that results in a fair ball 50 times this season!

Reds fall out of first place with that loss.

Yes and if they go on to lose this division by one game we can look back to this game.

Thanks to the Umpires and the Padres playing like garbage against the Brewers.

I said about 3-4 weeks ago having a solid experienced closer could make a difference of 15 games. Well, the closer didn't blow this one or the other vs Dbacks or Giants where Reds held a lead that was not maintained. But nevertheless it's blown and that is number 2 already. Reds should of had a chance at this win IF Garrett had of done his job and the freaking rain had not made it almost impossible to throw last night when Sims hit that guy and then walked in a runner.

Garrett facing two LHH should have shut the DBacks down.

Antone is the one who blew the lead though
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Looks to me that he is trying to pull outside pitches. Pitchers know this and pitching him outside.

Dbacks are a scrappy team and better than their record (that's my take, others may differ). Reds faced their best starter and lost their lead because the best reliever gave up a HR. Dbacks were only 2-13 with RISP.

As far as losses go, this one is no big deal.

Under normal circumstances, I'd agree. But the way things went down in the top of the 8th last night was not normal and not okay.

Okay, but I really don't think griping about it makes the team win this game, or tomorrow's game. Time to move one, it's a long season. Forget about yesterday.
