If Bruce catches the ball it's 1st and 2nd 2 outs.

For that matter, he never reached 2nd "safely" or even touched 3rd...
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

Making Mitch Williams look like he knows what he's yapping about really adds infection to the wound.

The REds have little excuse for how they have played.
Bud Selig and MLB have NO excuse for the refusal to use technology to get calls right. Last night the only run scored in the Giants win over the Braves came as a result of a terrible umpiring call. The Yankees-Twins series and the Rangers-Rays series have had blown calls.

And he didn't, then BP got involved and 2 runs scored. I like my chances with Chapman.

I'd still take OSU vs. Florida in the choke department.

If Rolen goes to first and Bruce doesn't botch it the inning is over.

Yep. I'm just saying it's tough to blame this one on anybody but the defense.

    Anybody blaming Chapman, wow.

It's been bad news bears tonight by the Cincinnati defense. Comedy of errors has spoiled pretty good pitching.

The Reds have no one to blame but themselves. The umps didn't make 4 errors. The Reds did.

Just pathetic defense by Rolen, Phillips and Bruce tonight.

Of course not. But it just proves that pitching is more than throwing 100 mph. It also involves good judgment by umps and players and we saw plenty of that bad luck/judgment in that inning from both players and umpires.
