Good thing Joe E Votto didn’t have to throw that time

with some exceptions, the Reds seem to come to the plate looking a little too relaxed, maybe distracted? And then they often take weak-looking swings.

Either this is some sort of strategy, or everyone on the team has mono.

    Maybe they’re just really bored
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

You know you're team is horrible when getting Kyle Farmer more opportunities is on the managers mind

    Rangers @ Reds 6-15-19

Looks to me like Minor is getting the outside call and the inside call from the umpire
That can make for a quick night for this weak Reds offense

The Reds were 68-85 in 1935, good for a 6th place finish in the NL.

    Offensive leaders:
    C Ernie Lombardi -- .343/.379/.539/.918, 12 HR, 64 RBI, only 6 K's (!!!)
    LF Babe Herman -- .335/.396/.516/.912, 10 HR, 58 RBI
    RF Ival Goodman -- .269/.314/.429/.743, 12 HR, 72 RBI, 86 R, 14 SB

    Pitching leaders:
    RHP Paul Derringer -- 22-13, 3.51 ERA, 45 G, 33 GS, 276.2 IP, 120 K's, 20 CG, 3 ShO, 2 Sv, 1.243 WHIP
    RHP Don Brennan -- 5-5, 3.15 ERA, 38 G, 5 GS, 114.1 IP, 48 K's, 2 CG, 1 ShO, 5 Sv, 1.268 WHIP
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.

Ervin needs to stay up the rest of the year so they can determine if he has a future.

Reds gone in the third on 11 pitches. No hits through 3.
