    Former Reds Watch Thread

I have enjoyed these in the past, checking in to see how former Reds are doing with new teams. This is not meant to be all inclusive, just names I remembered when I scanned other team's rosters. Feel free to add more or update these as the season progresses.

I felt not keeping Jose Iglesias made the Reds a lesser team.

I really think the Reds tried to extend him through this year and his team wanted more. Maybe they wanted 2 years, or more money, but I'm sure at some point mid-2019 they wanted to add him for another year.

Glad to see Frazier still going. He's had a pretty solid career. I feel like he and the league molded in a lot of the same ways (3rd base defense and power have been hot commodities since he broke into the league) and it allowed some of his flaws to get a pass.

Pretty cool to see Duvall producing after he was written off and in AAA most of last year. Looks like Frazier might last as long as Dunn did.

Are we including guys that was in the farm system, but traded as a prospect....hence never played for the Reds like Grandal? Or just guys that officially played for the Reds?

People complain about Christian Colon playing second base. It could be worse.

I thought for sure that Duvall would opt out since he’s diabetic, but it doesn’t seem to be holding him back.

What a difference a day makes, Didi went hitless in a Phils doubleheader and has dropped to 265/ 306/ 441/ 747

Traveling man: Derek Dietrich joins his third team this year, signing minor-league contract with the Texas #Rangers and assigned to their alternate training site. He was with the #Reds and #Cubs earlier this year.

Even though we can't sign DD we could trade for him right?
