It's a fine way to break down the season. And you should absolutely keep the thread going.

That was more just me noticing that we left a rough portion of the schedule to enter another rough portion of the schedule and now I'm thinking "maybe the whole schedule is just tough".

The schedule is always tough when you’re not a very good team.

if we come out of this stretch with a less than .500 record during the stretch, we will be close to slipping too far behind....probably slip to a solid 14th in the NL. We almost have to at least go at least 8-7. 10-5 would be very solid.

I think it’s an awesome way to break the season down into different stretches.
    Thanks for doing this membengal.

6-9. We don’t do Cubs and the Dodgers are excellent. Probably split with the pirates.

Why can’t they get the Washington Senators or Cleveland Spiders on their schedule. Bud Selig hates us.

The 2019 Reds really struggle to hit on the road. It’s not inherent to road ball this year, other teams do much better.

Reds have a .260 OBP on the road. Worst in the league, a shocking number. The league average is .309. Reds BA is .201 on the road.

I’m not sure of the W-L in this next stretch, I’d guess around .500. But they should be back to hitting the ball again with more home games.

If by magic they actually do go 15-0 it's gonna send shockwaves through the entire league..and it would mean I've entirely stopped watching because they win when I don't watch and lose when I do..
I'm not saying there's some direct correlation between me and the Reds with whether I watch or not, but they have won every game that I haven't watched this season.. darnedest thing, eh?
First place wouldn't exactly hurt my feelings..

I like what David Bell said in the pregame interview about playing all the teams with winning records.

We think this is a good time to be playing these games, we’re confident that we’re ready for the challenge.

I prefer Challenging Stretch 2: The Legend of Curly's Gold

    8-7
(Referring to Jack Hannahan signing with a Korean team)
Since there are no teams on the moon, I guess South Korea's far enough from Cincinnati to satisfy me.

Have to go 8-6 now against very formidable opponents to get that winning record.

It could happen. You could also win the lottery.
