Can't wait for the post game when Bell tells how much he was encouraged by the 9th inning.

I don’t need you to help me understand things. Your enthusiasm is overwhelmed by your over the top prognostications within the first few innings of every game and Eeyore like attitude.

Nah, it doesnt work like that. Everything would have been different. Maybe they score but it would have been facing Jansen who is way better.

A ball should be a ball and a strike should be a strike.

I can’t wait until there’s a automated strike zone in MLB

You did nothing to personally upset me. I have made comments to others before when they are already defeated after 3 innings. They just split 6 games against 2 tough teams although I think the Cubs get overrated.

I have seen the BRM get shutout about 4 times in 7 games back in 1973 and look just as bad hitting.

The 1989 Reds with Larkin. Sabo. Davis and Paul O got shutout 3 games in a row.

This isn’t something rare or out of comprehension that an offense can struggle badly in the history of baseball.

It’s kinda crazy how the game threads start melting down the instant the Reds fall behind in the game.

I haven't been around anywhere near as long as you. Ive been a fan since 2000 so I haven't seen much success. Maybe that leads to a bit more negativity then it should. I do believe a lot of my posts are positive as well. The game thread is kind of made for off the cuff remarks but I could see where you are coming from. However, I dont believe personal attacks are ever ok though especially considering you yourself said I didnt offend you. Maybe just say "Dont give up, theres still time". Idk, maybe that would come off better.

It's true but it works both ways. If the Reds have a good game, people tend to get overly excited in a game thread. I've always thought that game threads were supposed to be a little more emotional and off-the-cuff compared to more thought-out and rational posts in the ORG.

I’m not saying we can’t be emotional or we must make reasonable thought out post but for the love of God some of those negative posts are just silly especially early in the game
