wonder what the guys @ Prasco are thinking when they watch VanMeter stink over and over

Just put Davidson at DH. L/R matchup doesn't mean much when the guy couldn't make contact if his life depended on it.

hudson: 'i'm going to throw a curve ball in the dirt on almost every pitch."

reds: "don't worry, we will swing at all of them!"

JVM....I'd fly over to drive him to Prasco myself. He'd have to sit down in the foot well though. I wouldn't want to be seen with him.

I'm not sure I've seen a pitch he won't swing at.
How do we know he's not Mel Torme?

david bell is still in love with van meter because he had one good month at louisville in the spring of 2019 with a juiced ball.

The Reds are so uninspiring. They can't hit, can't run, can't field, and except for a couple, can't pitch.

Considering this season is in the crapper, I’d like to see just how low VanMeter’s average can go. Ideally, .100 would henceforth be known as “The VanMeter Line.” The Mendoza line will no longer be the gold standard for bad hitting.

He's trying to hard. He needs taking out. I can see that despite only having seen two pro-ballgames in person in my life. Why can't his manager?

that's the thing ... in addition to underachieving, they're not even a fun team to watch. they are all or nothing on offense. and have two elite starting pitchers (maybe 3 if castillo comes around). and that's it. i was a fool for thinking this team would be good.
