I think Billie’s career is over when the rosters go back down next year. I always liked him but he just can’t hit. I think the Reds did him a disservice by trying to make him a switch hitter. He couldn’t hit from one side so I’m not sure why they thought they could teach him to hit from both sides.

That sequence defines the difference between a good team and where we’re at right now.
We see why Tucker was bunting on the first pitch after he got 2 strikes -- to try to stay away from the DP -- playing for one run that inning!
At least they got the pitchers spot out of the way so that they can start with the top of the order next inning.
I am done with Barnhart for this year. With Stephenson up here should not see another start

Garcia has seen 13 pitches, only 2 of which were in the strike zone per Gameday. Why throw a strike, when he chases at will? His OPS has plummeted to .318. 2 for his last 25. He can't possibly field well enough to make up for that. Send him back to Prasco. He's not ready.
