OK - and I am not missing that. I do know baseball, and pitching in particular.
But at some point you have to focus on winning the only game you can win -TODAYS, because you are not playing tomorrows game, you only play todays. And at some point, the Reds (collectively) need to learn the urgency it takes to WIN. That missing urgencies is WHY THE OFFENSE IS FLAT.

I get it jup that you are frustrated and you know a lot about the game.
But do you think putting say Garrett and Bradley in to hold it at 2-0 magically produces 2 runs for the offense?
Maybe that pitching choice inspires them to do so, but maybe not.

Reds are still very much in the race. I believe they are now tied with the Brewers and Giants for the last wild card spot. I have no idea what the tie breaker is, but being tied for that spot is a decent place to be in.
