At least Mahle is somehow managing to throw up zeroes so far. That's about the only positive thing to say so far.

Stephenson works a walk because he didn't swing at every single thing.
I must admit, it was nice to see Votto get pissed. Nice to see some emotion that they are fighting and care.
Note: I know they care, it's just nice to see an emotional display like that as a fan.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob
Nov. 13, 2007: One of the greatest days in Reds history: John Allen gets the boot!

Was listening to the Pirate radio announcers on the way to lunch and they said the catcher Michael Perez had the lowest BA for any Pirate with 150 AB in season since............1892!
With all the dreck that has passed thru Pittsburgh in the last century plus, I found that hard to believe.

Farmer singles. Two on for the Shogo. Three run homer time!

Do you folks remember a '80's song by the Fixx called "Saved by Zero." ? It was written from the point of view of the release you get when you have nothing left to lose. The idea of the song is how great it is to get back to zero. It's a reference to the Buddhist mantra, I think... It clears your head of all fears and panics and illusions and you get back to the basics. Kinda like a multi millionaire that has lost everything and has nothing left. In a sense, there's a sense of freedom , a sense of relief, and less pressure because you ar at zero and no where to go but up. I think the Reds need to use this philosophy to their advantage. Back at zero, nothing left to lose. Just relax and play.
Make sense???

Shogo gave it everything he had.
Until that last pitch. Right down the middle and he stands there like a house beside the road. Goodness......

Akiyama is so bad.
“The crows seem to be calling my name,” thought Caw.

That guy threw 11 straight sliders. Strikes out Shogo on a fastball.

Shogo is like me in high school, just can’t hit anything no matter how hard he tries.
What would you say.....ya do here?
