So here goes Marty on a mini tirade against Votto and strikeouts. I guess Dunn being gone didn't save that dead horse from another flogging.

Absolutely. Strike three to Stubbs was a ball, inside.

Called strike 3...outta the zone...again. Frustrating. But that's on the Reds' hitters. They've got to realize that you can't let those close ones fly past when Joe loves to be the center of attention by calling guys out on strikeouts.

    Seriously?

I guess if it isn't George Foster or Pete Rose or Johnny Bench, etc. Marty doesn't care.

    False.
Benzinger backing and calling! And the 1990 world championship series belongs to the Cincinnati Reds!

I have complained a lot about West's inconsistent strike zone, but when there are two strikes, with West behind the dish, you gotta swing at anything close. If you miss, you miss.
