    Beautiful!

I remember feeling surprised Sonny got the opening day start over Luis, thinking Trevor would be an awesome three.

Glad to see it. He really was a total stud all abbreviated season and totally kick-ass in his playoff start.

Well done Trevor and hope to see you in the wishbone C again next year.

Now how can the Reds keep him? Maybe Castellini can hock his produce company.

Shock the world and sign him!

Congrats to Trevor and while his style might not everyone’s cup of tea, there can be zero doubt that this dude leaves it out on the field every single time he takes the pill. Man it was cool to see him win it at a Red!

Trevor Bauer on #Reds: "It's been a very good relationship and hopefully it continues. I'd love to be back and see my guys. ... I feel at home. I feel very much at home."

Well earned. Glad to have seen that unfold for a Reds team.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

    I actually get to type:

"Congratulations to a Cincinnati Red for winning the Cy Young Award!"

    Cool.

It does kind of feel like a novelty that it happened in a 2 month season. Of course that’s how the Reds would get their first Cy Young.

    But yeah, cool.

Re: Trevor Bauer wins 2020 NL Cy Young Award

This is cool. I don't care how weird this season was, Bauer was spectacular.

And for all the worthy contenders from Bob Purkey to Johnny Cueto, and for Bucky Walters and Dolph Luque who didn't get Cy Youngs because they had their dominant seasons before the award existed, the Reds finally have had a pitcher climb all the way to the top of this mountain. Whatever happens with Bauer this winter, he's got my eternal thanks for this.

We've stepped through the Looking Glass in 2020 and I don't know how long it will take to get back. But, if great Starting Pitching is what the New World looks like for the REDS, then I can at least embrace this piece of obscurity.

Do the Reds honor their MVPs anywhere in the park? I think these kinds of things should be talked about along with number of World Championships, League titles, Division titles, etc. The way big college football programs highlight their number of Heismans along with everything else.

This is a fun list to go through:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cincin...league_leaders

12 MVPs, 1 Cy Young, 7 Rookie of the Years, only one Manager of the Year (how did Sparky Anderson never win Manager of the Year with the Reds?)

The Manager of the Year Award has only existed since 1983.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
