We speak of BHam, Deion, Eric the Red, Joe Morgan and others, but when discussing elite, world class speed for whatever reason we always omit Casey.

Didn't Marty say the Perez and Casey were the best Reds 1B's of his career a few weeks ago?

Think of how much slower he'd be without the lessons.

2 easy walks by Pena and Meso, Frazier swings at 2 out of the zone.

    Phillips takes first pitch

Hate to bring this up, but the lineup without the black hole that is Jay a Bruce is doing just fine.

I always watch and rarely hear Marty...but sounds about right.

They always spoke how great he was with RISP and then he bats 3rd almost all season and drove in 57? Without walking much

Good thing Walt wasn't GM in '99. He would have given Casey a quarter billion dollars.

I'm like you and always watch, but I remember someone mentioning it in a game thread recently.
