Ugh. Thought they’d at least keep Bradley.

Farmer is actually a surprise, but the dude just can’t hit a baseball.

I don’t get Farmer. He’s not arb eligible, so he would only get close to league minimum if kept.

Yeah the Bradley NT makes no sense but I’ll wait to pass judgement until I see the Reds whole hand for this off-season.

Non-tendering Bradley's a real bummer. It's not a white flag on the 2021 season, but it's certainly a bad sign. Five millions bucks is real money, but for a back-of-the-pen arm, that's pretty reasonable. It's safe to assume they're not going out and spending that Bradley money on improving the bullpen. Those spots will be filled in-house.

The team got worse today, and I don't think you can presume any savings will go toward improving the club.

All these players, even Bradley, are rather easy to replace.

I will wait to see if the Reds add some free agents to fill these newly created holes before making a final judgement on these moves.

Hate the Bradley move if he isn't re-signed.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

The Bradley decision annoys me because they gave away two guys for less than 10 IP. Those guys could have been used more efficiently on the backend of other trades.

Kyle Farmer agreed to terms with the #Reds on a 1-year big-league deal. He will return next season despite being non-tendered.

    Both those guys stink.

Totally. Stu Fairchild is a nice prospect. It’s not like the economic landscape has been altered since the time of that trade, they knew how the outlook for 21 was. So dumb.

When they got Goodwin and Bradley, Reds noted that they were controllable for 2021. At that time, it was considered a good thing.

    But the financial situation changed.

I’m not wedded to the guys they cut, but am concerned Reds may now not add players except in cost cutting or, at best, salary neutral deals.

Man ... can’t say I’m too happy about this. I really liked the Bradley/Iglesias pairing at the backend of the BP. And I really don’t understand dumping Casali. None of these guys are world beaters, but this feels cheap as hell.
