    I'm understanding of Omar Infante's nice batting average.....but I don't think he maintains that as a starter. No way, no how.

    Less than 40 games left. All it'll take is a moderately hot streak. Over the long haul of a full season, I'd agree completely...but < 40 games?

    He's had his hot streak...he's a .275 career hitter. Regression to the mean will not be kind to Omar.

    I'm not disagreeing...just saying it's not quite the automatic decline you'd think. In such a small stretch of games...it wouldn't take much to maintain it. And regardless of his career numbers, he's having a career year...so you've got to expect better than career numbers, right?
