Dunn and Griffey are 0-6 in the first game in September. Will someone tell them it is 9/1/06 and not 9/1/05 or 04,or 03?

I've gone to GABP specifically to observe Junior in CF. He is at least 4 and probably 5 steps slower in CF than Deno and maybe a step beyond *that* when compared to Freel.

I agree we should get a huge return. Another problem the Reds have is that their offense would really be bad if you subtract Dunn. It would be extremely expensive (if not impossible) to replace his production.
Add Griffey to that equation, even at his age. I almost laugh when I hear about Denorfia and Freel replacing Griffey. Yes, they'll catch a fly ball occasionally, but who's going to produce runs? It sure as heck ain't gonna be Deno or Freel.

Freel makes an error? No big deal. Griffey on reconstructed legs doesn't get to a ball he obviously thought was out. Criminal offense.

Everybody knows Jr. isn't a CF anymore except Narron. It's Narron's job to move him.

Griffey in LF or at 1B for as long as he wants to play is my dream.

    Just not Center-Field.

Jr hasn't produced anything this year. His bat wouldn't be hard to replace.

I agree, that would be ideal, but Wayne seems to have a blind spot for pitching over offense. Again, that's just an early impression which may be wrong.

Dunn will not be traded this offseason.

You can take that to the bank.

In his year before FA, all bets are off.
