If Purdue beats Duke, are the Boilers the new #1?
If Purdue beats Duke, are the Boilers the new #1?
Probably should be, but I think they'll stick with normal procedure and go with Houston.
did not beat them.....waxed them like they did to Gonzaga. WVU was their toughest matchup in the entire tournament. Purdue has a really solid roster with some interesting pieces that do not get much notice because all of the media attention goes to Edey.....but they are more than Edey.

WVU enters the game against UF as 1.5 point underdogs.....
WVU - 84
UF - 55
Next up @ Xavier....should be a good challenge. Xavier has 3 losses...by 2 points to #12 Indiana, 7 points to #8 Duke and 4 points to #6 Gonzaga.

Huggins does not fare well against Xavier. I expect that to continue next weekend in Cintas Center.

Vols are 13th. Don't know why Kansas is still ranked higher but whatever
A lot of our guys dont fit the scheme right now. Last night is what will typically happen against tougher teams with bigger guards. Bonham and Lofton were outmatched. WV ran us off the 3Pt line and didnt give Castleton the respect of double teams and it worked very well for them. I watched almost all of that game and it was tough to think even with improvement that Florida will be a tournament team. Defense has been nearly non-existent for us so far. We lost a home game to FAU and we were down 17 at the half to a historically bad FSU team (who is now 1-7). If we're lucky we'll go 9-9 in conference play.
Its a tough year being a Gator fan with transition years in both Football and Basketball but id much rather be where we are now than still with a football coach who didnt put any effort into recruiting or a basketball coach who couldnt create an offensive set if his life depended on it.

Actually it's Tennessee who's drawn Kansas more often than not. The Vols have played them 4 out of the last 5 yrs

This year the Vols get Texas who's currently ranked #2 in the country. Kentucky does get Kansas in late January
UK has played Kansas 4 times. This will be the 5th this season. Also have played once, WVY, Texas Tech and Baylor. They also are on a rotation with Kansas in the Champions Classic.
