    9/5/2014 Reds vs Mets

Here's the lineups. Guess that's it for Yorman and Lutz. This is Irish Heritage Night at GABP. You get to hand over all your green (backs) to the Reds.

Why not bat Bourgeois #2 behind Billy?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

because this way you can get Frazier and Mez up more often.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

I am a big proponent of giving your best players the most at-bats but it's pretty much a non-issue right now. Bourgeois had a nice game yesterday, would be fun to see if he and Billy could get on and wreak havoc on the basepaths.

It's my opinion that it's that time in the season to let the line-up roll out there without a peep from the gallery.

Big series. Bottom ten W-L record on the line.

Shouldn't overstate it, though, both teams still have 19 games to lose afterwards.

They're playing the bagpipes at GABP. Either Roddy Piper is in town or there is a funeral.

I still think the Reds are auditioning Bourgeois for Heisey's role next season.

I would personally have Yorman in LF and Lutz at 1B, but meh.

I'm probably the only person on here that doesn't care about this.
