I'd feel for him if he wore a different uniform. But maybe he will be when he pitches again.

Won't he be among the oldest players to have had TJ?

That stinks. Before this season was shortened, I thought he had at least an outside shot of 300 wins. Definitely off the table now. One of my favorites pitchers of this era.

Takes long time to recover from that surgery so I wonder if he pitches again?

i'd feel for him if he wasn't a multi-millionaire who is married to one of the hottest women in the world.

it's not like he got cancer. he just can't pitch a baseball for 9 months or so, while still getting paid.

It'll be interesting to see what he does. I'm guessing he won't want to go out like that.

    He'll be a 39 year old FA.

He said he thinks the surgery will lengthen his career, not shorten it.

Yea, I don’t feel bad for the guy.

He’s filthy rich, he’s a huge hypocrite who crusades against cheating then won a World Series with the Astros in 2017 while they were carrying out the biggest cheating scandal in baseball history and now he thinks “well, I mean, I don’t think our World Series is tainted. I mean..... I think we had the best team in baseball anyway, ya know? We’re cool, right?”.

That’s the thing about cheating, Justin. It’s cheating, and your stupid opinion about whether you would have won anyway doesn’t matter. Either sack up and take some responsibility, or don’t talk at all.

I bet all that trash can banging was hard on his arm. Now that they’ve got buzzers and he’s getting TJ surgery, he might go all Nolan Ryan and pitch until he’s 46.
