The Reds’ current lineup lacks punch unless Aquino goes nuts with the long balls.

Suarez probably is feeling lots of pressure to produce.

    That’s when things go bad.

Reds have lost Puig, Votto, Winker, Gennett, Casali. Tonight Senzel was hurt. Dietrich is out too, he was hot early. There’s only so many guys you can lose.

    Get ‘em tomorrow.

And some of those Ks were awful at bats. Swinging at breaking balls 2 feet off the plate.

    Yeah Geno Sucks!

He's only the most productive position player on the team.

Did the P hit Iggy on purpose to get to Suarez without showing him up with an IBB?

Sounds to me like Winker's back regressed a bit. Unless you called up Siri (which woud not make sense), there's no healthy hitters left on the 40. But there's still a couple guys that probably need to be trimmed off the 40. I just don't know of a hitter that is worth it.

I think Bell preferred Senzel over Winker for the PH due to wanting to stay out of a game ending double play.

Someone posted tonight that they (TV) should do away with the strike zone box so there would be less complaining....

There's something wrong when a bad call could determine the outcome of a game.

Why not take steps to prevent that from happening?

Who knows how the inning might have gone if House woulda held Suarez up at third base instead of sending him to be thrown out by 12 feet?

Well, maybe not always, but on that one I'd say it depends on how he got to 3-2. If he was 0-2 and then Freddy had laid off of 3 pitches for balls, maybe need to be in the zone, but if he was 3-0 and then got to 3-2, then yes give him a good breaking ball that looks in the zone but goes out below.
