    Votto!
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

That grand slam by Votto which could have broken the Reds season record doesn't officially count as it was hit before the game was to officially start! Fans who bought tickets arriving on time for the scheduled game didn't have a chance to see it in person.

Obviously small sample size but uh, I think last night and today are a good reminder of what we saw earlier in the season, that batting Schebler at the top and Billy at the bottom of the order is the way to go.

If I had tickets for today's game and arrived after it had already started, I would demand a refund.

I guess Votto got tired of all the rumblings about no HR since the all star break?
I actually did notice him swinging harder in his last 2 at bats yesterday. I think he has been trying to hit the ball out of the ball park recently.
And who knew it would be a slam? lol
Truly a historic season when it comes to the grand salami.
They are like fingers around here....we all have 10 or 12.

It was for weather reasons, and they announced that anyone that couldn't attend could exchange the tickets for another game.

Pretty sure the slam still counts no matter what time the game starts.

The ONLY reason I can see not trading Harvey is maybe he has told the Reds he wants to sign.
And the Reds think they can ink him for around $5 Million.
The same with Scooter. If the Reds do not think they can sign him to a 2-3 year club friendly deal, he has no business being a Red right now.

Harvey seems to always have one bad inning. That may not be exactly accurate, but it seems that way just like it always seemed that Bronson had one really bad inning.

Billy had no chance to catch that ball.

The slam doesn't count if they don't get through five innings.

Why was the game moved up an hour?

Want to get the game in despite the rain.
