    Bruce grounds into a 4-6-3 DP. 2-2 after 6.

I really wish Jay wouldn't have asked into the lineup.

He hit it sharp, perhaps 2 sharp.

For those who can't watch, that ball was STUNG, but right at the 2B.

Oh Jay Bruce, you owe us. Maybe around the ninth inning or so.
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

Even though we tied the game the inning was a collosal (or however you spell it) fail. Man alive.

Was just thinking I might bunt Bruce there to stay out of the double play and hopefully plate a run... guess not.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Seeing eye base hit for Phillips. Rocket shot hit right at the 2b. The baseball gods are smiling right now.

He hit a humpback liner at Keppinger. He didn't exactly sting it.

Meanwhile, Cards trail 3-2 in the fourth, Bucs with a man on first and one out.
