Funny enough, he had this exact situation in Cleveland one year. They were in no mans land and Palmer scrambled for a 1st on 4th and 10 or something. Bengals went on to win the game.

Purely eye test here but has Jonah Williams been pretty good? Seems like majority of the pressure is coming from the right side or through the middle.

I think Jonah will be okay. It is the right side. Price shouldn’t be on an NFL roster and Hart is Hart.

Yes Jonah is fine. The line problems are pretty much on the right side

Zac’s answer on the line after the game is we are trying to figure it out.

It is becoming obvious Zac has to go he has no idea how to fix this and won’t change a thing

The Bengals have had their fair share of draft flops, but letting Whitworth go was one of the worst moves in franchise history. It's a crying shame that he won't end his career in Cincy.

He's had a ton of issues with his feet and ankles and never got out of the dog house...

And he never had them in college?

I've seen more than enough to know we have something special in Burrow. At this point the only goal this franchise should have is figuring out how to protect him. And if they can't do it, he shouldn't play. His body isn't going to hold up taking the hits he takes every week.

They are going to ruin Burrow.

If they won't address the line, they should shut Burrow down and try again next year.

Defense is serviceable. But you could have hall of fame RBs, WRs and QB and you'll fail miserably without an offensive line.

It's truly criminal how they are doing Burrow.

Starting right guard is in a boot...Johnson is not a guard and Price is not an NFL player...the only other option is the kid from Kansas or Shaq Calhoun who they picked up from Miami.

    Not sure...

I know he had severe plantar fasciaitis for the majority of last season as well as some ankle issues. Supposedly worked in PT on improving his hips as it was effecting his low back. If you look at his play against Cox he gets steam rolled and I don't think he can anchor really well as his base isn't solid.

That was a bad Eagles offense. And they still gave up 23 points.

    Agreed.

Can’t speak for the Eagles but had Burrow dropped back and attempted to pass I honestly believe he would have been on his butt in the end zone for the 9th time in the game for a safety and the Bengals would be 0-3 instead of 0-2-1.

If the line doesn’t kill Burrow, getting behind in games and having to throw 60 times like last week will destroy his arm moving forward. They still get the Steelers and Ravens twice among others.

Just a random note, David Carr was sacked 76 times his rookie season.
