Winker had some kind of season ending injury.. I forget the details.
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Raisel Iglesias will be effective as long as he is limited to strict save situations...

    Oh, wait...

When your Closer has 6 blown saves and 12 losses it just kills your season.

Time to move Iggy, Peraza, and Barnhart. And find some bullpen arms. And a better lineup than tonight.

Raisel requires a 3-run lead. He was very clear in his demands. Shame on The Reds for not acting accordingly.

Can't believe anybody could think we're going to be in contention in 2020. We need something like 15 new players

The Reds are now 5-12 against the woeful Pirates in 2019. That makes no sense at all.

You could try to hide your excitement over this just a little bit.

The Reds are assured to finish in 4th place, but as awful as the Pirates, they could get within 2 because the lineup was a spring training lineup and I don't see the Reds as being that bad.5 straight games they've not performed against pitchers with horrible ERA's.

I swear... I don't think you could do any worse going with a Closer by committee.

I'd describe the way I feel about it as more like depressed.

Agreed. Anything is preferable to this. Oh well. Get them tomorrow with Sims on the mound. I don't expect much.
