He'll also be hitting against Logan Ondrusek...also with the Yakult Swallows.

This is one of the best threads of the season so far. Great job to everyone.

It is amazing how quickly Juan Francisco aka "EE 2.0" has fallen.

Juan was a modern Wily Mo, not surprised he's also in Japan now.

Apparently the Dodgers expect to call up Heisey on Wednesday.

Danny Dorn was called up by the DBacks.

Hot minor league start to the season, joins an already crowded outfield.

    Good luck to him.

Nick Masset was recalled by Miami. It's a bonafide former Reds bonanza today around baseball.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

His first major league ABs, after posting .824 OPS in 2,500+ AAA plate appearances. Congrats to Danny.

Ryan Hanigan is an offensive force. Scored the only run in a 1-0 win tonight after getting an infield single (go figure) and eventually grinding around the bases to score. He can't hit at all, but seems to be everywhere all the time.

Drew a walk, so not really his first AB I guess. At third in position to score the go-ahead run. After all that time in the minors doing nothing but hitting, it's great to see him finally get his taste.

Stranded at third by that bum Goldschmidt. :O)

I'm glad Dorn finally got a shot at the big leagues. I have no idea why the Reds or anyone else hadn't called him up before now.

Our old friend Choo struggling mightily so far: .135/.220/.463. I still think he has a few good seasons left, but i'm starting to wonder if his best seasons are behind him.

Dodgers designated Corcino for assignment after one AA outing.

Dennick was outrighted to Dodgers' AA team, so he remains with that organization.

Alonso now at .914 (.365 batting average). Might have been best, after all, to have solved the LF problem by moving Votto.

I was totally onboard the Yonder Alonso bandwagon with what he showed during his brief Reds tenure, but he was a big disappointment his first 3 years in San Diego. Seems like a good guy so I'd hope this breakout is real.
