And he walks one of the two righties and gets one out, same as he did the lefties. Will they leave Ganderson in or ph a righty?

Looked that way. Gave him a lot of rope before doing it.

9 walks for Garrett in his last 10.2 innings (not to mention 3 HRs allowed). That won't work.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Iglesias comes into a non-clean inning

    A little bit worried here

Deep fly ball backs up Senzel but it's an out

If Amir wants to use his slider so much on 3 ball counts he needs to throw it for strikes.

I’d normally agree with you, but I’m with Thom on this. Garrett was all over the place. Not the work of a premium reliever there.

You just have no blind faith in AG after walking two batters.. I don't either.

I'm not defending Garrett or trying to be overly hard on the home plate ump (though that is fun) because I don't know what was said. But isn't throwing a pitcher out of the game who's being taken out anyway like giving a 96 year old man life in prison?

If this team doesn't seriously address the bullpen before next season we're in for more of the same.

I long for the days of the 200-220 inning starter but it seems those days are gone. If you're going to be covering a lot of innings with your pen you need more than a couple guys you can trust or you're going to wear them out by August if not sooner.

Gotta fix that and also address the offense in a meaningful way.

I'm still high on the rotation, though.
