Reds should have won this game. Bad fielding plus bad luck equal bad result.

Sometimes a loss is just a loss. Leake didn't pitch well, we didn't get a clutch hit from Frazier, etc. Considering the standings, I am not particularly devastated by this one.
The standings are irrelevant, unless you can show that if the Reds were in contention Frazier would have gotten that clutch hit, and the Reds fielding would not have been Keystone Copish and Dusty would have pulled all the right strings. It may be the middle of August and the Reds may be out of contention, but how the players play and how the manager manages still matters.
