Watching his Instagram account, him and Amanda seem happy. Nothing like a good woman to keep a man in line.
Good for him and good for them.

I'll be surprised if this actually sticks, I'm seeing an 'only home games' thing happening.
Go Gators!
A sad day, actually. Like many others, Marty is a presence from my childhood. I have so many fond memories of hanging out with my grandfather (who passed in 2003) listening to Marty and Joe. That's where my fandom of the Reds was born.
I haven't always agreed with Marty's quips or assessments of various players through the years, but I don't need to be in complete agreement with him to greatly appreciate what he's done for myself and countless other Reds fans. At the end of the day, there aren't too many things better than sitting on the back deck on a pleasant summer evening drinking a beer and listening to Marty and the Reds.
I look forward to hearing him for one final season.

Fans who get emotional and triggered over Thom or even Marty are hilarious
This is one of the least successful pro franchises in all of sports over the last 25 years
Miserable moves, tiresome seasons and bad, bad, bad baseball
Maybe it’s the Reds fault the announcers aren’t more cheery and positive
Or. You could get a Geoff Hobson to just tell
Us how great we are at baseball
Complete fail, dude
For many of us, no matter what we think now of Marty (and who mentioned Thom?), it represents the passing of our childhood and adolescence.
I’ll say this, my Reds friend, from 1974 until 1981, 7 years of Marty’s announcing, the Reds were one of the very best teams in baseball.
Color me flipping hilarious
sorry we're boring

Dan Hoard grew up professionally as a baseball announcer. Just sayin'.
All models are wrong. Some of them are useful.

I’m not talking about the fans who know Marty as a reds staple and hate to see the legacy end
I’m talking about the endless amount of fans who say Marty was too synical and that thom is even more unbearable. Read through here; It took 2 minutes to turn into a Brennaman ***** fest.
I have great memories of Marty. Thom is also good. Not their fault the players and product stink
