Can you imagine the old time pitchers who pitched 15-20 complete games back in the day look at today's pitchers?

Can you imagine today's pitchers going back to the day when 100 mph was a myth?
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.

If ever a time machine were invented, I'd want to see Hunter Greene face Ruth.

    Or Ted Williams.

I'd also want Walter Johnson to pitch to prime Joey Votto or Tony Gwynn.

I'd also want to see what guys like Cobb could do on the basepaths-- if anything at all.

Diamondbacks star Corbin Carroll suffered a broken hamate bone in his right hand yesterday during batting practice, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports. He’s slated to undergo surgery today, per ESPN’s Jeff Passan. That’ll sideline Carroll for the majority of camp and seems likely to land him on the injured list to begin the 2026 season
Orioles second baseman Jackson Holliday will open the 2026 season on the injured list after suffering a fractured hamate bone in his right hand during live batting practice on Feb. 6, president of baseball operations Mike Elias announced to the team’s beat this morning (link via Andy Kostka of the Baltimore Banner). He’ll likely miss the first several weeks of the season.
    Batting practice, the silent killer.

Zack Wheeler kept the rib that was removed to correct his thoracic outlet syndrome.

    It’s in his closet.

Well it’s not Don Werner or Steve Christmas. It’s that Dodger that their fans say was a key to them winning beacuse of stuff.

Here's an article suggesting that the Reds could take a chance on a Walker Buehler bounce back from Tommy John surgery.
