    My biggest fear is it will be a CB. The Bengals tend to ignore the obvious need in favor of something that will be a need the following offseason and basically redshirt that pick. I could definitely see Mansoor Delane or Jermond McCoy being in play.

    It would certainly be very Bengal like for them to draft McCoy and I think that would be yet another huge mistake

    With the Chiefs signing Walker that takes away a taker for Jeremiyah Love and possibly takes a defensive player off the board for the Bengals.

    I have no idea what a lot of money is anymore with a $300 million salary cap, truly couldn't tell you if that was a cheap or expensive deal.

    All that for a player who sent the Chiefs to the Super Bowl that year.

    We've got a LB focused DC and no matter how you whitewash it Knight and Carter weren't good last year. I could see them taking Styles if he's the BPA on the defensive side. Would not shock me at all if they spent a 3 or a 4 on LB.

    Yeah.....right now out of the whole D, CB is probably their strongest position and I could see them wanting to shore it up (again in rounds 3 or 4). If the corner's are the BPA on the defensive side.......I would want them to trade down, but they rarely do what I want them to do. As LiferJim said above, it would be a very Bengals pick.

    That seems like an awful lot for Ossai

    DJ Turner is the only serviceable starter.

    CTB is inconsistent and Dax Hill is a bust. They could be upgraded from and are close to their deals expiring i believe.

    I don't like the idea of a first round CB but I also wouldn't be surprised by it either.

    I "think" this one is real

    Tom Pelissero:

    The Bengals are signing former Chiefs safety Bryan Cook to a three-year, $40.25 million deal, sources tell The Insiders.

    @LIFTSPORTSMNGMT
    negotiated the deal, which pays Cook $18M in Year 1.

    Ive seen them linked to Devin Lloyd. Carolina is too but hopefully landing Jaelean Phillips takes them out of the running.

    Would this have any impact on them drafting Downs or would Downs replace Battle?

    Got the safety. Now need at minimum an edge and linebacker. I wouldn't mind if they brought Reader back, too.

    Titans just signed John Franklin-Myers. He was a Bengals target.
