Sooner or later KBH has to get a hit. But how many more times can they keep starting him the the lineup, seeing how atrocious the offense has been?
Playing Hayes instead of Lowe’s .333 OBP is definitely a choice.

Hayes currently has a -48 OPS+, I didn't know that was possible
Hayes is a lifetime .249 hitter...not great, but he's a proven hitter...he's going to start hitting eventually.
.564 OPS since his back injury in 1,000+ PA's, so he's going to hit a little bit, but not much.

Nice try, Ron. But, I think they are going to make us send 9 different guys to the plate before using the top of the order again. Tito might try to slip that by the umpire, but I think the opposing Manager will insist that somebody bats 9th.
(Of course, I just did the reverse jinx and Hayes will reach twice while only making one out on Offense tonight.)
