You’re not wrong. But it’s a little more difficult than drafting #1 in multiple drafts with generational talents available - namely, Robinson, Duncan and Wemby. Orlando, also has been ridiculously fortunate in that regard. Hard to feel sorry for either franchise.

Don't sleep on Harper. That kid has some serious game. Brought along slowly (@23 min per game), but he was really good during the regular season. Before the draft, I was actually hoping he'd fall to the Sixers.

McCollum has been great in this series against the Knicks. He's been great since he became a Hawk.

MIN's DEF has dominated Jokic and DEN since the 2nd quarter of Game 2.

At this point, I think MIN wins this series and can face OKC and the refs in the next series.

The Joker has missed 26 of his last 34 shots.

NAW - Nickeil Alexander walker wins NBA most improved. Congrats man. Avdija finished 2nd and Duren finished 3rd. I don’t understand how Avdija didn’t win, but NAW is a great guy, very calm and cool (so Canadian, I love that demeanor) and Twolves miss him. He just doesn’t make his three pointers consistently and has just an OK handle. But Atlanta are smoking hot and he is a key guy for them.

NAW has been great. Watched him at UW and hoped the Blazers would draft him. Half a dozen teams acquired him and all thought he was a tweener...man without a position. But, he's just a winner and kept working hard until he became too valuable not to be on the floor. MIN was loaded and had tough personnel decisions to make. Glad Quin Snyder (who had him in UTA for a short time if I remember) has given him his chance. Most impressed with his improved Defense, especially when he was in MIN.

Turn out the lights, Irene. This party is over. Rockets were up by 6 points WITH the ball. And still lose. Kevin Durant can come back now, with his entire family, and it's not going to make a difference. The Rockets were looking for a big year at the start of the season, and are going to end up getting bounced in the first round. Now THAT is ugly.

Too many losses of key players.

    Adams and VanVleet.

    Traded away Brooks and Green.

Major choke job by the Blazers the past two games while the young Spurs collectively stepped up every game.

Lakers vs Spurs will be interesting if Reaves comes back.

    Both were deserving.

Re: NBA 25-26 - And so it begins..

Blazers will have 6 1st Round picks along with other assets to trade this Summer in order to add an impact player to go along with the core players of Deni Avdija, Donovan Clingan and Toumani Camara. I think everyone else is available (except Dame, who will finish out his career in Portland, but he's not a core player). I hope that Scoot Henderson is not available. I wouldn't lose any sleep over Sharpe being moved. I'd also love to keep Kris Murray and Sidy Cissoko. Krecki is on a good contract and his career 40% "3" point shooting is badly needed, and he's at the right age for this team, in addition to doing all of the little things. That's another I would try to avoid trading.

Will be an interesting Summer. The first move needs to be in the Spring by identifying who the Head Coach and the staff will be.
